Safety and Security

Do not travel.

We now advise all not to travel overseas at this time, due to the health risks from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel. This includes to Poland. If you’re already overseas and wish to return to Australia, we recommend you do so as soon as possible by commercial means. From midnight Saturday 14 March, foreigners will not be permitted entry into Poland. This will apply until 24 March and may be extended further. All returning residents and citizens will have a 14 day quarantine enforced. Schools, museums, cinemas, restaurants and bars will be closed, and gatherings of more than 50 people will be banned. You are permitted to leave Poland, but be aware many flights are being cancelled. If you wish to leave, confirm your flight as soon as possible. Check with your travel provider or the nearest embassy or consulate of Poland to confirm entry requirements. We haven't changed our level of advice: Do not travel to Poland.
