There are no special notes about passport validity at this time. In general, it is good to ensure that your passport is valid 3 months after your trip ends.

We now advise all not to travel overseas at this time, including to Spain. The Spanish Government issued a decree on 19 March to close all hotels and alternative accommodation in Spain within seven days of this date. If you're relying on these for accommodation, you should leave as soon as possible by commercial means. If you're staying privately and wish to return to Australia, we also recommend you do so as soon as possible. As of 17 March, Spain closed its land borders to non-residents.
